Cedar Hill B&B Hosts Drew and Justin
Your Hosts, Justin and Drew Godfrey, and Gabe welcome you to Cedar Hill Farm Bed & Breakfast

Here at Cedar Hill Farm we are humbled by the rich history of this property and wish to welcome you to share in the comforts of our new Bed & Breakfast and embrace the essence of a time gone by. The house was built in 1695 and has stood fast in its original state with exposed post and beam construction, hand planed woodwork and wide plank flooring.

The first public "Free School" was established in one of the two upstairs chamber rooms in 1695.

The original brick clay open fireplace dominates the dining area. One can imagine families gathered for conversation and cooking.

The farmhouse sits on the crest of a gentle rolling front field, once considered the town common and having served as a militia training field during the Revolutionary War.

Several original outbuildings and barns that once housed horses, cattle, and small farm animals flank the main house. Most pastureland has grown to forest but opens to fields and meadows.

Hike the trails, see the horses, and experience this quaint New England town, where the Essex River serves as a backdrop for breathtaking views of marshland, islands, and coastline.
